Frequently asked Questions

A few helpful Answers before your Feet hit the Sand.

What Time is Check-in and Check-out?
Check-in starts at 2:00 PM, Check-out is by 11:00 AM — but Island Life isn’t always that precise. If you arrive earlier, feel like staying a little longer or simply don’t want to rush, just let us know. If we have the Space, we’re happy to make early Check-in or late Check-out work.
Is the Resort quiet or lively?
Both — depending on the Time of Day and the Dates you visit. During the Day, the Resort is calm and relaxed. In the Evenings, Things stay easygoing, with Music at a comfortable Level. On certain Party Dates, the Island feels livelier, while the Resort itself remains a Place to come back, slow down and unwind.
Do you offer Breakfast?
Yes — but without fixed Times or Routines. Breakfast here follows your Rhythm, not the Clock. All our Rates are without Breakfast on purpose, so you can stay flexible. Breakfast is served à la carte — no Buffet, no Pressure, whether you’re up early or starting the Day much later.
Do you have a Pool?
Yes. Alongside the Beach, we have a Pool where you can cool off, relax and enjoy the View. It’s there for Moments when you feel like swimming without Salt, Sand or Waves — or simply switching between both.
Is the Beach suitable for Swimming?
Yes. The Beach right in front of the Resort is generally calm and well suited for Swimming. Depending on the Tides, the Water stays shallow for a long Stretch — on some Days you can walk out “forever” before it gets deeper. Conditions change with Weather and Tides, but most Days are perfect for an easy Swim straight from the Beach.
Can I rent a Scooter at the Resort?
Yes. Our Front Desk can arrange Scooter Rentals directly for you. Scooters are delivered to the Resort and picked up again just as easily — no need to go anywhere, no Planning ahead. Riding a Scooter comes with Responsibility. Please make sure you feel comfortable on Island Roads, wear a Helmet and ride with Care — especially after Rain or at Night. And just in case it’s not second Nature yet: we drive on the left here.
Are Taxis available at Night and during Party Events?
Yes. Taxis and Boat Taxis run regularly, especially in the Evenings and on Full Moon Party Nights. They’re an easy Option for Nights out and make it simple to get back whenever you’re ready. If you prefer, our Front Desk is always happy to call a Ride for you.
Is the Resort suitable for Families?
Yes — especially if a relaxed, natural Setting fits what you’re looking for. Our 2-Bedroom Villa is a great Option for Families, offering two separate Bedrooms and plenty of Space to be together. For Families staying in Bungalows, we’re happy to arrange Bungalows close to each other whenever possible. Baby Cots can be added in all Room Categories. A regular Extra Bed is available only in the Beach Bungalow Deluxe. We don’t offer Kids’ Clubs or Animation, but Families who enjoy Beach Time, Freedom and an easy Island Rhythm usually feel very comfortable here.
Are Pets allowed?
Pets are welcome around the Resort, and they’re also welcome in the Beach Restaurant and Bar, as long as they are kept on a Leash. Unfortunately, overnight Stays with Pets in the Bungalows are not possible. If you’re traveling with a Pet and have Questions about visiting during the Day or spending Time at the Restaurant and Bar, just talk to us — we’re happy to explain what works best.
When do I pay for my Stay? Is there a Deposit?
Payment is made depending on the Rate you book — Details are always clear before you confirm your Reservation. Upon Arrival, we also ask for a 500 THB Deposit per Bungalow per Night. It’s simply there to cover Things that might accidentally get eaten, drunk or otherwise enjoyed a little too much, and is returned at Check-out if unused.
Is Parking available at the Resort?
Yes. Free private Parking is available directly on Site. No Reservation is needed — just arrive, park and settle in.
Do you offer Transfers from the Pier to the Resort?
Yes — and it’s an easy Way to start Island Mode. We’re happy to arrange a Transfer from the Pier directly to the Resort. You have two Options: Shared Taxi: 150 THB per Person Minimum 4 Guests or 400 THB total. With shared Transfers, there may be a short Wait at the Pier while Guests are grouped together. Private Taxi: 600 THB for 1–2 People A direct Ride straight to the Beach, no Waiting. After arriving at the Pier, simply walk about 100 Meters to the Taxi Meeting Point and look for the Phangan Beach Resort Sign. Let us know which Option you prefer, and we’ll take care of the Rest.
Is the Tap Water safe to use?
The Tap Water at the Resort comes from our own on-site Well. It’s safe to use for Washing and brushing your Teeth. For Drinking, we recommend bottled Water. To make it easy, we provide two complimentary Bottles of Drinking Water in each Bungalow when you arrive.
Is Medical Care available nearby?
Yes. Medical Care is available on Koh Phangan, including Clinics and Hospitals that can handle most Situations. In case of something more serious, Koh Samui — with larger Hospitals — is just a short Boat Ride away. If you’re unsure what to do or need Help finding the right Place, our Front Desk is happy to assist.
Are Visitors or non-resident Guests welcome?
Yes — Visitors and non-resident Guests are always welcome. If Friends or Visitors use Resort Facilities such as the Pool, Sunbeds or Restrooms, we simply expect Consumption at the Bar or Restaurant. Nothing formal — just a fair Balance that keeps Things relaxed for everyone.
Is Phangan Beach Resort right for me?
If you enjoy a relaxed Atmosphere, Island Life, Flexibility and a Place that feels natural rather than staged, you’ll likely feel very much at Home here. It’s a good Fit for Guests who value easy Days, unforced Evenings and the Freedom to do Things their own Way.
